There have been renovated recently purchased laptop with Win 7 Home Premium. We wanted to take a computer on a trip to Washington DC and were originally looking netbook. If a small is the top reason for buying a laptop, jump on netbook. In what seems the norm with all Windows computers, the Asus is loaded with tons of useless software. In addition to the wealth of software to get rid of junkmuch of a hard drive 320 GB was consumed by a backup system software on a hidden partition. Hardly necessary, since the computer came with recovery discs. I knew things would never, even if only to say that there would again remove everything from the hard drive I wanted, and has no way to do is destroy every bit of data that are currently on the disk. What if important data before a system that no longer have to start saving?

Very seriously, I findis difficult to believe that consumers have no complaint against PC makers will not be filed a real copy of Windows that you paid on a hard drive. At least Asus provides recovery discs with this device. Some manufacturers use a single copy of the system software on the hard disk. And how is that a fuse or even useful? A copy of the hard disk, similar to a retail sale, allows the drive as you can back up important data first before restoring repair or reconstruct the otherHard disk.

What I did was the final version of Windows 7 Home Premium I bought my Mac Pro and install the portable hard drive is completely erased with it, a breakdown in C and D drive. After installation of Win 7 from the retail disc (not entirely legal, since the laptop came with the same version of Win 7 and must build their own product key), I then the driver disk that came with your computer portable to bring the hardware up and running as it should. end result was a laptop,Boots and works faster and better than I could with the factory configuration. I then use Norton Ghost to create full backups of the hard disk at regular intervals on the D drive partition. These backup files are then copied to an external hard drive. Easiest way to do this, start a laptop repair its last saved state in case of a virus or something from the beginning.

I purchased this product because I have a small apartment, the space is a problem and I did not want the Typical 5-speaker systems installed in most home theater-in-a-box. I was connected to a cheap no-name 32 "LCD HDTV flat screen and the system is not bad and takes up very little space. It has only 100 watts of power failure, but the sound is pretty good. It is basically a progressive scan player DVD / CD player with a speaker system. Even if your speakers are mounted on the wall, I no longer appropriate.So far so good and I'm happy with the purchase. The system is perfectly suited to my needs.

This year, Toshiba celebrates its 25th anniversary of innovations and quality in the notebook PC business. Beginning with the launch of the Toshiba T1100, the world’s first clamshell-type, fully functional laptop PC, Toshiba has led the with such innovations as the first laptop with a color monitor in 1991 and a laptop with integrated CD-ROM drive in 1995 (followed by the addition of a DVD drive in 1998). And in 2009, Toshiba unveiled the world’s first ultraportable laptop with 512GB solid state drive.

I bought a Toshiba laptop and to my surprise, the touchpad does not work properly from day one. After hours on the phone explained the problem and thus thousands of cases I had to send Toshiba. The problem is that they lost my computer and do nothing to solve the problem. I called over 30 times already, and were not willing to help. I will never buy another Toshiba, and I suggest you do the same.

Up to two hours, said the site of this netbook Toshiba is expandable to 2 GB of RAM. I bought the netbook and a memory module upgrade (exactly fitting their specifications). The machine does not work with this memory.

Ok. These things happen.

Amazon sent me a very generous new memory module. This did not work.

I spent hours on the phone with Toshiba "support". Serial liars all. Your stupid disguise was beyond all belief. I wish I had atranscription, because I can not restart the flow of circular logic, the technical ignorance, scripted talk and dropped calls. (I also talked to the wonderful people at Crucial. Make the form, and spent much time with me to try to diagnose the problem.)

While Toshiba has been used to deny that there was a problem I've seen – on the fly to change – Toshiba website: it is no longer recommended, related forms of memory upgrade. But none have been from level 1 to level 2 (level 3confiscated mysterious and unavailable for direct contact), add to return to level 1 customer support ever for a moment, there was a problem, except for the possibility unlikely that both forms sent to me shortcomings have been affected.

And (I had the car for one day in possession!) When I look at the netbook and I had to send it wanted to ensure that Kentucky, at my expense, for their attractive appearance. They would not apply to guarantee me together in a local Toshiba authorized repair shop.

Long story short, if you upgrade or change their website and you saw, I saw that the new official history of Toshiba did not apply additional memory. I've downloaded a PDF specification, which is certainly not. But their views have changed online.

Amazon is exceptional in this mess. But Toshiba has been terrible for a corporate culture. What a terrible thing to a guarantee. What a lineup of people picking up the phone.

The product of a society is no better than their customer service.Toshiba I rank as the worst.
